Mission Malawi is doing a great job, not only raising much needed funds, but also raising awareness of the AIDS crisis in Africa. Something has got to be done, fast, but it's great to see teams like these doing their bit to help. I wish them all the best for their gruelling expedition, and hope they reach their fundraising target. Please do all you can to help them.

Wow! Well done Mission Malawi - £250,000 - what a total. All that hard work is paying off, and it's back to the grind again. AIDS is a global catastrophe, so it's fantastic to know that there are people in this country who are trying to make a difference. Good luck with the training for 2010, and fingers crossed for an even bigger total next time round.

Mission Malawi is an excellent cause, and is drawing some much needed attention to ActionAid's work with HIV/Aids sufferers in Africa. The expedition sounds pretty gruelling, but I'm sure the team will rise to the challenge. I just wish I could go with them...sort of!
